ChatGPTs makers release GPT-4, a new generative AI that understands images

Microsoft’s original chatbot, named Tay and released in 2016, became misogynistic and racist, and was quickly discontinued. GPT-2 displayed bias against women, queer people, and other demographic groups; GPT-3 said racist and sexist things; and ChatGPT was accused of making similarly toxic comments. New Bing, which runs a version of GPT-4, has written its own share of disturbing and offensive text—teaching children ethnic slurs, promoting Nazi slogans, inventing scientific theories. It’s certainly pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible just a few months ago. GPT-4 can also score a 700 out of 800 on the SAT math test, compared to a 590 in its previous version. New GPT-3.5 Turbo, other updates

But developers are already finding incredible ways to use the updated tool, which now has the ability to analyze images and write code in all major programming languages.
